The law firm HRUBÝ & BUCHVALDEK is dedicated to assisting foreign clients with their business activities and investments in the Czech Republic, as well as domestic clients expanding their business and investment activities abroad. Our principal areas of practice include general corporate and business law, collection of receivables, real estate law, international transactions, investments, intellectual property and employment law, including litigation in all the areas mentioned above.

Our partners and associates represented many clients in the past in a number of significant transactions, including the sale of the largest Czech internet service provider, which proved to be the most significant transaction of its kind in Central and Eastern Europe to date, with a sale exceeding USD 200 million, as well as numerous large projects involving the purchase, sale, refinancing or development of real estate.

The co-operation with experts in a large number of areas of practice allows Thomas Hrubý and Jiří Buchvaldek to supervise the services rendered by their associates personally, whilst utilising their individual skills in their respective fields of expertise.
